Mental Health & Life Coaching for Individuals and Couples:
I enthusiastically use modern knowledge provided by neuroscience, evidence-based experiential practices, and different types of spirituality but also I draw my knowhow from all the different experiences using various skills and techniques acquired during 30 years of working with people, being mentored by experts, mentoring professionals, attending numerous professional trainings and groups, classes and workshops, and reading the new research studies as well as professional reading.
Knowledge, experiential and emotional awareness are sources of empowerment, calm and natural creativity. And when we feel empowered and calm, we can trust, stop living in survival mode, stop isolating and avoiding, and stop trying to control every aspect of our lives. We will feel liberated, make better choices, engage in healthy relationships (with self and others), and will embark in a journey. Our natural creativity will give rise to the best solutions we need to implement to move forward. We will learn to create effortlessly.
Our current state of life is influenced by conscious and mainly subconscious forces (implicit beliefs, habits, programmed patterns/schemas).
Neuroscience tells us that those subconscious processes account for 95 percent of who we are.
It explains why it's difficult to change—5 percent of our consciousness versus 95 percent of subconscious processes. Change will require a sustained effort, but not a intense effort that will turn your knuckles white. A joyful, hopeful and mindful effort.
We will work as a team and we will co-create an incremental planning for changes and goals to occur to the necessary pace. I will help you to gain well being, achieve the quality of life you desire, create an inner sense of safety, acquire the skills to self regulate, and solve present-day problems by developing emotional awareness, bringing clarity to what seems chaotic inside and outside yourself, kindly identifying unconscious schemas, reframing, practicing effective and mindful communication, and learn to up regulate or/and down regulate some identified parts of your self. And all this to accomplish your goals!
We will use IFS, mindfulness techniques, cognitive-behavioral techniques, self regulation and other tools to help you to reach your goals.
I will also give you homework: book reading/listening, actions to put into place, short meditation techniques, emotional awareness techniques, new ways of communicating, and more.
Homework is optional but recommended for you to progress towards your goals to ease your intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships and to lead you toward positive and meaningful relationships. Homework can help to counteract the power of the subconscious mind.
I will help you to deeply observe and question behaviors and thought processes, define problems, identify your strength, and select goals. You will learn how to connect thoughts, feelings, body sensations, emotions and behaviors, how to set realistic and attainable goals and to realize goals that seemed unreachable. Along this empowering process, we will also explore unconscious and conscious motivations.
The work space that we will co-create and that I will hold for you, will provide you with unconditional positive regard, empathic understanding, and the genuineness necessary for your growth and evolution.
