Cecile Serrano has helped people increase their quality of life and well being since 1995. She believes strongly that healing is always self-healing occurring within the safe environment of a relationship, and that changes occur when a self transformation takes place.

The sessions she provides with her expertise can become that safe environment. She will serve as a gentle guide and a co-creator of the sessions to accomplish this transformation. She is a French clinical psychologist, a coach, a certified specialist in pain reprocessing therapy, a certified bio- and neurofeedback specialist (certified since 2002) and an IFS facilitator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and neuroscience, a Master’s degree of science in clinical psychology (France, Paris), and a Master’s degree of arts in occupational therapy (France, Montpellier). She offers coaching and consultation services nationally and internationally.

Each year she enthusiastically attends several professional workshops and training to keep acquiring new knowledge and techniques, and to refine some skills. She also uses mentorship to keep up with excellence.

Since 2010, Cecile has also personally practiced mindfulness meditation and occidental Zen meditation. She uses mindfulness meditation in her practice, and uses mindfulness when using or teaching people any experiential techniques and somatic tracking to decrease or heal chronic pain or other chronic unexplained symptoms or sensations.

More and more knowledgeable in quantum physics and in subtile energy, she has learned and trained in energy healing, which she has practiced since 2012.

Her personal experience with different types of chronic pain, vertigo, dizziness and unexplained symptoms that conventional medicine couldn’t help or heal have lead her to discover the new ways of curing pain and unexplained chronic symptoms or sensations in various parts of the body. She learned about the brain-based model of chronic pain and chronic symptoms. She healed using neuroplasticity of the brain, acquiring new skills to care for herself, being more connected to her body and thought process, and attending to her emotions in different ways. This led her to learn self compassion, a key component of self-healing. This painful but very empowering experience became a wonderful source of knowledge and skills to help others.

Using these various tools, she empowers people in their quest to establish or reestablish wellbeing, self regulatory skills, balance in their life. She also helps people engage in healthy relationships, and to determine and achieve big enough goals for themselves.

Cecile has practiced in different settings like private companies, various hospitals, clinics, countries and states. This gives her a unique experience and an understanding of cultural differences.

She speaks fluent French and Spanish.

People coming to see her are considered as clients fully responsible, filled with undiscovered inner resources and innate healing mechanisms.

People come to her for help with various problems, ranging from: sorting out a chaotic life; feeling stuck in their professional or artistic life; feeling too stressed and caught in the wheel; looking for their true self, especially after a traumatic life event; wanting to perform better in their art, at school or at work; marital difficulties; all sorts of chronic pain and chronic conditions; anxiety; and to learn more about meditation.

Cecile works closely within a network of clinicians and coaches including: neurologists, osteopaths, life coaches, physical therapists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatry nurse practitioners and holistic physicians.

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
